Hobart City gained both its 1 Star and 2 Star accreditation with Club Changer this year. Club Changer is Football Australia’s Club Development Program which aims to protect and enhance clubs, make them stronger and more resilient, lead them in building welcoming and inclusive cultures, and educate them on positive environments for players, coaches, volunteers, and officials while planning for long term viability and success. Hobart City are of only 3 clubs in Tasmania that have earnt their 2-star accreditation.
2 Star clubs show commitment to developing inclusive environments for women and girls to participate. This has been noted with a 34 % increase in female participation at Hobart City in season 2025.
To top this all off Hobart City was also named Club Changer of the Month in April 2025 by Football Australia.
