Hobart City FC is excited to announce Matthew Simos as our Men’s Championship Coach for Season 2026!

Matthew joins us following back-to-back championship-winning seasons in Victoria’s State League and U/21As bringing with him a strong record of success and a clear football philosophy. An avid Chelsea supporter, he is passionate about possession-based football, with an emphasis on fast ball movement and high pressing – a style that will bring energy, intent and precision to our men’s program.

Matthew is eager to make an immediate impact and connect with the playing group. All current and prospective players are invited to meet Matthew on Saturday 6 December, with further details to follow.
